Carmen Briceno

About

Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, she studied law at the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello. Married with Antonio Briceno, they have 3 kids (Alexandra, Antonio and Fernanda).

As a hobby, she developed her natural skills in painting, arts and crafts. While in Caracas, she had the opportunity to teach Arts to groups of adults and children and to participate, along with her sisters, in the Taller Santamaria art workshop where she exhibited some of her work. She moved to the US in the year 2000 and soon embarked on what would become her true passion, teaching people of all ages the arts and crafts.

She also expanded her knowledge of the arts by attending several courses creating murals, centerpieces, paintings and teaching wood painting techniques.

Carmen is very happy to join again Ave International School as she feels very aligned with its vision and mission.
